*AMERICA FIRST!!!*
*Sends $40 Billion to Argentina*
"What about the American cattle farmers affected by this?"
"But Argentina is fighting for their life."
So Argentina first?

Better than $20 billion for gay parrot studies in South Sudan

You might get the same if not better ROI. We are getting nothing tangible or even intangible.

Their limited government can't achieve this without our help?
Trump already helped their agricultural economy by fricking over our soy bean farmers
Now they need more money from us?

Well this is false because they are.
One thing I notice about you is you mix factual stuff with things you made up in your head. It’s strange.

Until you realize that 40 billion is greater than 20 billion and no such study of that magnitude exists
In the real world this is a total America last fail

How are American cattle farmers affected by this?

That $40 billion could have been used to address some of the issues we're having with our country's beef supply. I was moreso pointing out the hypocrisy. It's always America First, until it isn't. And then we're supposed to buy the bullshite excuses about why it happened just cause Trump said it?

We have no business bailing out Argentina unless we get something out of it
Posted on 10/21/25 at 2:53 pm to dgnx6
Show me where they are doing anything significant other than buying soybeans
I'm noticing most people on here have no idea what is going on down there. YOURSELF included. You guys freak out over 20 billion of Chinese investment throughout the continent and one port facility in Peru. Meanwhile US companies have close to 200 billion in Brazil alone plus a significant interest in lithium mining with a big mining firm down there
We don't have the same investment presence in Argentina because no one does. The Estancios down there make investing problematic

To benefit hedge fund investors.

Let them have it, there is plenty more where that came from. Plus, we get great Argentine beef.
Posted on 10/21/25 at 5:37 pm to CharlesLSU
I think its a good investment. Argentina is our ally and we should help them. Milei has been a good friend to the US.
Posted on 10/22/25 at 8:47 pm to CharlesLSU
So, in the end it’s just a loan to a buddy……to ensure China doesn’t monopolize South America.
Got it.
Got it.
Posted on 10/22/25 at 8:49 pm to CharlesLSU
Argentina can’t be saved by Milei alone. He won’t be in power long enough. That place is fricked, which is perplexing because it shouldn’t be.

And beyond that, there is no area of the world in which we have failed so miserably than in Latin America as far as trying to force our politics into their governments. Almost every damned country from the Rio Grande to Tierra del Fuego, we have meddled hard and failed miserably every single time.

Its like we can never develop any good trade with these countries. Its either we are giving them billions of dollars to be our friend...or we are invading them demanding they die or take our democracy and goodwill. No wonder the whole rest of the world is turning on western banksters towards China.

The purpose is to save American farmers.
Posted on 10/22/25 at 9:33 pm to CharlesLSU
Argentina just so happens to have one of the largest lithium reserves in the world
If we aren’t going to be getting it from China then we would not want China’s influence of Argentina

China is weaseling their way in. They are basically allied with Brazil at this point.
