Again, no one has a problem with legitimate claims.

Hell no I ain't signing up to do what Isreal wants me to
do
Sorry not sorry
Alright, that's enough for me.
Since there is so much outrage to stay on the government tit, will have to get back to funding it.
You're welcome

over 4.5 years away from my family still takes a toll on the body and mind.
My parents were Navy, and I regularly spent 6-9 months without seeing my dad, so should he get disability for the rest of his life because of the trauma?
Linemen that work in disaster restoration spend long periods of time away from family, and have a pretty decent risk of serious injury or death. It's not the deck of the USS Abraham Lincoln, but can you claim disability for merely having been on mids or swings in the military if it caused you anxiety or PTSD?
There's a reason there are memes about a paratrooper hitting a deuce and a half and the joke is, "your injuries are not service related," but that doesn't seem to be any of the people that end up on Financial Audit that are drawing disability.

I don't know what it's like to trek across a desert, dodge narcos, and file an asylum claim, but I still reserve the right to question the process. Same with veterans disabilities

You’re not skeptical. Many of you are outright calling veterans welfare queens and demanding major cuts to benefits. Stop being dishonest.
Your making shite up isn't me being dishonest.
I have not called veterans welfare queens or demanded cuts.
I believe waste/fraud is rampant in the federal government, and the VA isn't immune to that. That's all I've argued, and that I'm good with efforts to reign that shite in - across the federal budget, involving every agency/program.

My apologies, Candace. You’re just asking questions
JFC you're stupid.
I'm making statements/arguments. Fraud and waste have gotten to ridiculous levels all across the federal government. That's not a question, and I hope you're not dim enough to question that.

Who said anything about efficiency or fraud free? Did you miss where I called the process rigorous?
Oh, frick - some dumbshit on tigerdroppingsthat going by "lurking" promised everybody that the VA process for determining disability benefits is rigorous. We all can rest assured the VA, unlike every other federal agency, is relatively fraud-free.

I didn’t argue against that, moron. I said the VA is unique in that what is required would be detrimental to ALL VETERANS. FFS some of you are so incredibly dense it’s no wonder we’ve all but lost the country. We were busy deployed and trusted you idiots to preserve the nation in our absence. You did great, buddy.

I’ve already agreed, big brain. You’re arguing with yourself at this point.

It is rigorous. Anyone arguing otherwise is unfamiliar with the process. Because they’re a pussy afraid to serve.
So again, you cucked boomer, how do you think this ends?

Work on your vocabulary. Let's see if you can make a full sentence without cursing.
I doubt it.
Enough of you. You are boring

It would be interesting to know the number of Viet Nam Veterans who died from Agent Orange vs the number who died as the result of battlefield injuries.
My Father in law was gassed in Boot Camp (mustard Gas) then fought in the Battle of the Bulge. After he was discharged, several years later, he had one lobe of a lung removed. He suffered the rest of his life. Never got a dime from VA .
My wife's best friends husband, a Vietnam Veteran, Died of Lung Cancer due to Agent Orange.
Don't blame the Vets, Blame the F ing politicians.

Well then maybe the VA should make the process more transparent and easier to navigate
I believe they have done this somewhat.
One major benefit to service members, and the likely cause of the number of approved claims over the last 22 years, was the congressional mandate to move to an electronic health record system in 2004.
Service treatment records beforehand were reliant on paper spanning the member's entire career and actually being available at the time of their separation. Oftentimes these records were mailed during a PCS and thousands were lost over time. Now, VA representatives can view every single appointment a member had over their career in real time. Congress mandated the creation of MHS Genesis in 2016 that links the VA Healthcare system with the Department of Defense.
If people want a boogeyman to blame for the increase in VA disability claims, then they should be blaming technology, not screaming fraud.
