Tomorrow night there will be a huge vigil, and the 'community' will wail and gnash teeth. They will talk about how this shite got to stop, but as soon the candles are extinguished they will keep on doin' what they doin'.
Sorry, but black lives don't matter in the hood - only dead black people. If they truly give a good shite about black lives they would be whoopin' people's asses on the reg for doing thug shite. They would be at every school board meeting demanding that the education their kids are getting is top notch. They would be sitting down with their kids and checking their homework.
They would do stuff as a family like have family meals a few times a week.

It’s multi faceted but it has to start with consequences.
No more soft judges, catch and release putting multi time felons back on the streets.
Have to end the generational welfare that allows and incentivizes black people to have multiple kids out of wedlock and with no fatherly influence.
Proactive policing in known crime areas.
That’s just a start.

I live less than two miles away from this complex they live in. It’s off of Lafayette Blvd., which is a main stretch leading to the downtown area when you cross Hwy 3 toward the battlefield.
Section 8 housing complex. Doesn’t look horrible, but you can tell when you’re in that area of Lafayette Blvd.
This part of town has been associated with youth gang crimes for a good while. Bunch of human filth parents not giving a shite about their kids and only smoking weed and sleeping while living off the state and federal government tit.
My kids also go to Lee Hill Elementary, the school where the third grader brought his parents’ gun to school (and it fricking DISCHARGED) on Monday.
REALLY rethinking life decisions in terms of where I live and work here lately…
