The number of illegal aliens that crossed into the United States the month DJT announced his candidacy: 38,000

The number of illegal aliens that crossed into the United States last month; 144,000

I voted for him in 2016. I volunteered for his campaign in 2016. I will do the same in 2020. However if this doesn't get fixed, he loses in 2020.

Our "no balls" republicans and the democrats (communists) won't change the laws. Trump can't do anything about that.

Call your Congressman. That's where the logjam lie.

Yiu honest think that if it were up to him, Trump wouldn't fix this issue singlehandedly? Even if he were allowed to. Do so unilaterally per the Constitution, that just means it would be summarily undone by the next Dem President.

I think those numbers have to do with the improvement in the economy, and funding by international socialist groups.
I don't think Trump really wants to build the wall.

Simply not true. They have huge balls. The are strongly opposing the will of their own voters.

and that would be fricking brilliant - he is just about the ONLY force in government fighting this shite so let's abandon him.

What a load of fricking shite.

I wish I lived in an era when rank stupidity wasn't rife in the country.

Until we all burn the GOP line up and make our collective voices heard to those in CONGRESS, nothing will change.

The reason why the gov is what it is right now is because our side sat down.... That's a fact.

We allowed McCain.. We allowed Romney to be our nominees.

You think it's Trumps fault? Really?
It's an attack from the deep state against Trump and Congress will not help. How you blame it on him is mind-boggling
Soros is doing this to discredit Our President

What branch of government do the DHS and military belong to?

Who is the head of that branch?

Curious why you would think people might blame Trump for this increase. He's done absolutely everything possible to try to stop the flow, but has been impeded at every step by democrats and republicans.

Only reason to blame Trump might be because his booming economic measures are drawing people in. But that would be stupid to call him out on.

Yep! We counted on Trump to fix this. Build a Wall was part of his speeches. Fix our broken immigration system.

We'll see.

This ^^^^ is a distinct possibility, Trump’s getting bad advice if he doesn’t understand this.

Hard to fix it when Democrats, Mexico and many others are actively working against him. Hell, the Republican Party is basically sitting in the sidelines doing jack shite about it.

What exactly can Trump do?

Trump is the one who promised it. And you can't blame the Democrats when Republicans had majorities on both sides of Congress for 2 years.

When Trump promised to fix it, what was his plan?

It’s a democratic republic and not a dictatorship or monarchy. There’s only so much he can do.
