If I were to tell this board that I met Creepy Joe Biden last week, every person that reads this thread would be a corroborating witness to a statement that is untrue....

Moore may or may not be guilty but these "corroborating witnesses", unless they saw it happen, are simply inadmissible hearsay and garbage "evidence"

I think this is their new "thing," lot of people chanting in unison. That many people saying the same thing, it has to be true, right?

But it's a mistake in my opinion. Too many loose ends. Pull on one of those, and it could be really interesting what you find.

I was there and witnessed the whole thing as well. I'm #31.

I'm a trumpkin too, but we all know that Moore is a little creepy. I don't know if he broke the law, but I would almost bet that he has a thing for teen girls.

And just so I don't sound like a hypocrite...#metoo thinks some of these 16yos are fine asf.

We don't have to check if NavyTiger74 agrees.

But in teh case of Roy Moore we also have his colleagues at the D.A.s office saying it was common knowledge that he targeted high school girls. So, this isn't like a group of flunkies from the internet vapor.

having a thing for teen girls 40 years ago does not mean he has a thing for teen girls today. God, you people are so idiotic.

I was there and the girl was dressed like a slut and coming on to Moore hard and he declined saying "you're too young" and she got mad and said she would bring him down one day.

Quite the opposite

Every added person is another person who, for reasons unknown, never cared to bring it up before over almost 40 years despite Moore being in the public eye the entire time

They tried that on Cosby and it didn't work.

Yeah, well, we'll remember that if Moore ever goes to trial.

And it appears that everyone in Etowah County old enough to remember is saying the same thing about him.

I don't live in Alabama, and am not waiting to read accounts of every twist and turn with bated breath.

But is what you say true? Or are you pulling it out of your arse (what it sounds like from here).

Let's assume you have a source for this. At least one of his colleagues in the D.A.'s office when he worked there has gone on RECORD saying his.

Ok. Now explain to me this: We have an officer of the court, who knows that a colleague is engaged inappropriate relations with high school girls (and yes, if they were 18 it was technically legal, but this is a career killer anywhere). Yet chose to keep mum. Probably because an assistant DA could destroy their career in law - they have that kind of pull.

Or worse. They knew that Moore was tapping or sure looked like he was tapping an underage girl.

And that officer of the court did nothing. Now reality and what is doable is a little different than theory.

But if we have anyone knowledgeable in Alabama law circa this time period, would this kind of thing be grounds for a disbarrment?

Assuming that these guys came forward, and it is in print or video.

No witness directly corroborated that he got naked with the 14 y/o. A friend corroborated that she was dating a “much older man.” I think her mom corroborated the story of him getting cozy with the daughter at the courthouse. So that leaves the 14 y/o as the only direct witness besides Moore.

No witness directly corroborated that he shoved the 16 y/o girls face into his crotch. He denied that he knew her, and she produced the yearbook signature. I’ve seen a lot of jackass analysis of the handwriting, but no analysis by someone with expertise.

Many witnesses corroborate that he was dating 17 y/o girls, which was legal. No witness said his contact with those girls went beyond kissing, and he could legally have had sex with them.

A lot of witnesses say he had a reputation for dating or attempting to date teenage girls. Again, that was likely legal. There is some buzz that he was banned from the mall, but I’ve seen nothing direct on that. B

As I see it, that leaves him with two accusers who refer to misconduct that occurred in private. The lack of eyewitnesses to that is not surprising. So that brings it down to the credibility of those witnesses. From an evidentiary standpoint, that’s where it is as I see it.

Pretty solid proof that he is a strange individual. Some proof of criminal conduct, depending on who you believe.
