If thats the case than there should be at least one person who served with Bergdahl, or active military member, or veteran who is supporting him, right?
It's been well known throught the Army since 2010 that he deserted his unit and went to the Taliban. The only service members you will find, That I have found, have been higher ranking in the Navy, or Airforce. It sounds like they are either somehow ignorant or they don't want to say anything that doesn't fall in line with POTUS.

There has already been an initial AR 15-6 Investigation and now that we have him back that will be updated. There is no defense for abandoning your place of duty unless he is mentally ill, and that only works toward mitigation.

At best, Bergdahl has a screw loose somewhere. At worst, he's guilty of desertion. But having a trial in the media orchestrated by a republican campaign consultant is just pure sleaze. This board sounds like a lynch mob.

Why? Yeah, I agree it looks shady as frick, but what does the public relations firms owners political affiliation have to do with what they said?
I am sure these men will be called to testify in Washington at some point and I doubt they will give a different account of what they gave in this interview.

Agreed, it can and will be seen by many as a Swift Boating type of story. The only argument for this report is the lack of real reporting done by the media which is valid but short sighted. The accounts of former soldiers would of and and will shine the truth on the subject.

Bring him home, let the UCMJ sort it out. I don't know what's controversial about that. Not every Vietnam POW behaved honorably. We still didn't leave them behind.
