I'd love to see them try that. The 501st (4th ABCT, 25th ID) - much like the 503rd (173rd ABCT) - is a very well-regarded unit throughout the entire Army. It's the kind of unit that's usually put in some of the roughest spots and given the most difficult missions. It's also the kind of unit that sends loads of guys to special operations units and produces a lot of senior commanders and non-commissioned officers.

This isn't some sh!tstain National Guard unit guarding Abu Ghraib.
