No standing

...and this is only an attempt to delay. It's already been ruled on by the SC.

The judges want to tell everyone they fought so hard for the jackass Dem cause.

It hasn't though. This case is whether Alabama's legislatures map is racially based---not whether racial-based districting is legal.

Correct. The Supreme Court has not made a ruling on this case

It won't matter. It's over.

Republicans are likely to appeal the decision, sending it back to the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court earlier this month allowed Alabama to proceed with redistricting, kicking the process back down to the lower court.

When will these stupid judges understand that "diluting the black vote" is flat out an unconstitutional concept in a one man one vote Republic?

They don't get to vote in a bloc and have it counted as such. It isn't legal.A black vote cannot count more than anyone else's and that is what these cretins are trying to force.

It'll be shot down later this afternoon, or at the latest by Thursday.

that would dilute the votes of Blacks in the 2026 midterm elections.

Ignore the fact that "black" districts dilute white votes.

FYI, Caucasian/white is also a race.

People scream about No Kings....and Fascists. Well look no further then the black robed dictators that place themselves above the peoples legislature.

They assume powers never meant for them.Indeed WE should be ashamed for not marching on that court and demanding they be impeached and removed.

It's funny with the Dems. They had 2 or 3 black candidates in the statewide primary for Governor. Who did they pick? The nastiest, sorriest, whitest guy you could ever imagine. Funny that.

Not to mention he’s a rich and lives in Mtn Brook. It’s not like he’s lives on some farm in the Black Belt.

Alabama Liberals are some of the most pretentious racists in the country.

I believe so. There needs to be a punishment for judges that go against the Supremes. Especially when they rule about something that the SC recently ruled on. Its like these dumbasses think they are above the SC.

I dont know what kind of punishment but Id love to see the offending judges strapped down on live TV and paddled 4-5 times. They can even wear their black robe, but nothing underneath it.

A second offence should bring impeachment proceedings.

So they think they have the authority to override the Supreme Court of the United States?

That's fascinating.

Seems like the same problem we had to start with, which means SCOTUS will likely slap this shite down.

True but will it be in time? The left does this shite to delay hoping it isn’t settled in time to take effect for midterms

That isn't what this opinon does. They cite to and apply Callais. Its their determination that the legislature's map is race-based within the new framework set out in Callais

I would be surprised. The courts are hitting the line on timing--there really cannot be changes after a certain point.

It’s impossible to “dilute” a vote. One person/one vote and you vote at a precinct based on your residence.

How the hell can they order them to defy the United States supreme Court?
