I did the same, eventually had to do it verbal. 4 people live in house, 2 adults/2 children. Every answer after that was "I don't know" which is an acceptable answer.

So, like a Blue Wave or something?

If that 24 million number is accurate, that would cause every Congressional District to be reduced in population by roughly 50k people. That means states with more illegal immigrants will lose representatives and states with fewer illegal immigrants will gain representatives. The total number of representatives (435) does not change.

That would be awesome if true.

We had a citizenship question every census until 2010 Spare me the Armageddon

We haven’t had a citizenship question asked of every household since 1950. The census Bureau sometimes sent out randomized longer form questionairres to a smaller segment of the population, but asking about citizenship in the standard form hasn’t happened for nearly 70 years.

I don’t really care about the change but your post is deceptive or ignorant.

I wish they would not sign and send it in but if they have enough balls to come here and some as many as 5-10 times come back after been kicked out they will absolutely lie and send it in.......

Trump needs to get Congress to tax all money going from US individuals to Mexico to pay for Wall our only way to stop the invasion.......

Another 1,000 Hondurans have massed and now traveling through Mexico to storm our border in masse......

Fine

Then sanctuary cities will get less funding from the Feds because of under reporting population.

I'd rather the census be accurate, but I'm okay with that too.

It will make the census more accurate because it will be reporting the actual number of citizens residing in those areas.

The number of reps is set regardless of population. It’s just that they’d be divided up differently

Eh, apples and oranges

Not answering the census only hurts you, you get less representation

Not answering a gun question does not hurt you.

So, fail....yea

Lying on the census sounds like grounds for deportation to me.

No, not at all. The Senate is set at 2 per state regardless of population. The House is based on population. It is capped at 435. But the number of a states' representatives is most certainly based on population and is a fluid number.

24 million, now we get the real number of illegal immigrants that our friends on the left really think are in this country. And they are doing everything including selling their own families down the drain to make sure they can all vote in our elections. This shite must be stopped and now!!!!

If you’re not a citizen you have no right to vote. Plain an simple. And no rights under the constitution.

Depends on the total population returned by then census.

At a population of 350m, each Representative covers roughly 800,000 people.

If that number were off by 25m, it would mean each Representative covered about 747,000.

Rough guess? A swing of about 31 seats away from states with a high number of illegals.

^^^ Yeah I think it’s

Population/435 for house

But would affect California representatives severely so they’re up in arms about it. Hurts Texas and Arizona too. I’d assume Florida?

States with a ton of illegals include but are not limited to California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, New York, and Illinois.

This covers states bordering Mexico, within a boat ride from the Caribbean, are a major entry point (NYC, DC), and/or have a lot of industries drawing illegals.
