I'm in the Panhandle and most of us wont vote till later this evening after work. There are 8 military bases here and leans right by a lot.

I feel like the doom and gloom past few weeks were just GOTV efforts. I don’t feel the raw numbers are that bad for GOP (only polls were bad)

It's pretty bad for the R's in North Carolina. Today compared to 2024 early vote is -14.3 for Republicans and +8.2 for Dems. The R senate candidate here didn't really even run a campaign and had money pulled completely more than two weeks ago. Cooper will cruise to a win.

You can’t underestimate the influence of Elon and his cash infusion over the past few weeks either.

Dems were obviously more enthusiastic to get out to vote early which made things look very good for them. However if theres nobody else left to vote Democrat today then it could swing back dramatically the other way in many of these races.

Most people have given up on North Carolina as they’ve been taken over by the university systems. It’s becoming a state like Illinois where the population area will decide the state.

Typical foul mouth liberal. No class at all.

Gonna come down to how non-affiliated voters swing. Lots of early voting enthusiasm for dems but that’s nothing new.

Iowa 18-40 isn't showing out either in person or absentee.

It's a weird state. We have a near R supermajority in the state houses, but pretty much never have an R governor. Been solid red in presidential elections since 2012.
Cooper looked really good and moderate because all of the left wing bullshite he wanted to do was clipped by the R state houses and he never says anything inflammatory.
But you are right that the demo is changing here rapidly. Wake county alone has grown by over 2000,000 people last year alone. Most have moved here from the Northeast and California.
