Yeah, that was a foregone conclusion. Her real race was the primary

Up to 7.8 advantage total an hour later

There is remarkably little slowdown, and that was especially true when he posted it. 3-5 will definitely finish lower for both, but that always happens

R's should have about a 5% lead in FL with a 55-45 Dim split with Independents

The question will be how big of a split do we get with wishy washy Indy's over gas prices

Someone really needs to study this phenomenon. These types will latch on to the dumbest things and their entire personality becomes defending their obviously wrong position. He wasn't even bad at it, but he really just wants to be right more than being sane or good at what he does

Are we allowed to say it was racism if Byron doesn't win? Or is that only for when the candidate is a Dem?

I find that the prediction markets tend to have a lot of Gen Z/progressive influence throwing “hopeful” money around rather than realistic money if that makes sense. Just read any of the comment threads for any of the election outcomes and you’ll see what I mean. The same phenomenon was true in 2016 and even 2024 on earlier sites like InTrade and Predictit and the markets didn’t really reflect better or more knowledge than the man on the street until returns actually came in.

Overall, Florida is currently at a D+4 shift relative to 2024.

Well that is shitty

Trump and DeSantis arent on the ballot and the candidates that were chosen (by Trump) are typical GOPe types.

As a result the margins wont be what they were in previous races but outside of the marginal districts in S FL for the house the focus should really be elsewhere.

Donalds and Moody are going to win comfortably.

If Byron can't win Florida I'm not sure Republicans will win anything competitive at all tonight.

I can't fathom why the market is like that. Florida still seems extremely Republican electorate and even at the supposed reduced amount they still have a huge lead.

Oh definitely. Lots of foreigners too who trust the polls way too much (because they are actually pretty accurate in other countries)

My guess on the Florida Gov moving is someone trying to bank before the post-work comes in. Many have convinced themselves Dems are going to overperform drastically, but I'll believe it when I see it.

Florida and Donalds is a potential panhandle issue. They didn't support him in the primary, and the concern is that they won't support him like a normal Republican in the general. You can't extrapolate that to anywhere else.
