When Trump is re-elected, we all know it’s a victorious four more years. But it’s just four years and it can go fast. It may be too early to know anything but how do we keep the momentum going to keep the Republicans in the White House? The Pedocrats will stop at nothing to get what they want as we all know. Just curious as this notion of fear lingers despite a soon to be celebrated victory for our current fearless leader.

It's too soon to tell, and I think a lot of that will shape out in 2022 & 2023. What we will need to see is what does Trump do when he's not holding back for re-election (not saying he is, but you just never know). And, how do some of the Reps, Senators & Governors respond with 4 more years of Trump. Some of them have already started to show their true colors, but will any others step-up or get in the way?

Listen I know I’ll get flack for this but here it goes. I think the Republican Party should elect Rand Paul or a libertarian-republican/constitutional nominee in 2024. The Libertarian party got 4.4m of the votes in 2016. Imagine if the Republican nominee got those votes(everyone knows most of the votes took away from Trump.) I think it’s going to be tough to win in 2024 if history has any indication on how it will go. It may not be the candidate most of the Republican Party will want but I think it’s a good strategy to win the election.

If we nominated a John McCain or Romney like Republican we will 100% lose.

If Trump wins, I think Dems split into the socialist wing and the corporatist wing. If John James wins his Senate seat race, then the GOP ticket in '24 should be DeSantis/James, as they are both great people and would go a long way towards locking down FL and MI, two critical swing states.

However, if Trump wins, '24 is going to be very tough for the GOP as history shows these pendulum swings as the country swings away from the incumbent party (see '08 and '16).

One thing we haven't seen much of in my lifetime is a popular and successful Lame Duck President pulling his potential (perhaps hand picked) replacement to victory as he walks out the door.

Bad blood between the Clintons and Obama in 2016
Bush was pure poison in 2008 (same with LBJ and Nixon)
Clinton was scandal ridden in 2000
Reagan had big coattails in 1988 but dementia was setting in and there was a slight hangover

Trump has changed the political climate in a lot of ways. Something tells me his second term will continue to "buck the trends".

Voting for Trump this election obviously.

What if we voted for a libertarian in 2024? Say Jo Jorgensen. Just to keep the Dems out of office lol

Cruz/Paul/DeSantis

I would say Mike Lee, but I believe he may he tapped for the Thomas seat in Trump's 6th or 7th year.

If Trump wins a GOP president might be a long shot in 2024, so it might be worth keeping the powder dry for 2028. Just have to wait and see.

Regardless of when, my next candidate is sitting in Tallahassee right now.

The Republicans have a very deep bench, but the guy I would be excited to vote for is Ted Cruz.

Other contenders could be Rand Paul, DeSantis, and Noem. One to watch out for who I think has the ability to connect with people and be a real dark horse is Ben Sasse.

I want Noem to be on the ticket. And don't want Haley.

I guaranty regardless of who's on the ticket, Sean Hannity will say it's the most important election of our lives.

Trump literally has the lowest average approval rating of all US presidents in history at 40%. The next lowest was Truman, at 45%.

What does popular mean to you?
