Lots of plantation votes there.

Posts like this will clearly convince them to vote the other way

How? Rispone had far more money than the LAGOP had at their disposal.

You and the trial lawyers gonna file some celebratory PI lawsuits now that tort reform in Louisiana is dead?

How the hell are there like 40k more votes in the Governor's election than the SOS, yet Rispone is losing by 20k?

United Republicans in one race, Rispone in the other.

Some people don’t cast votes for every issue on the ballot. It seems crazy, but it does happen.

Well now that JBE is in his 2nd and last term, he no longer will need to restrain himself from going all out socialist. Yeah it'll damage the next Dim candidate, but he'll be collecting a government check the rest of his life, so he likely won't care

I'm not worried about that as the legislature can keep him in check. It's the jackasses he appoints that can really do damage. Look how ITEP has been bungled.

Yeah, a handful of people posting on the internet that hurt a few people’s feelings turned the ride of a state gubernatorial election.

Redistrict from Cook Political report is saying the same thing and are you going to shite on him too?

A key to tonight's #LAGOV outcome: the small but critical bloc of Ralph Abraham (R) primary voters who either stayed home or voted for Gov. John Bel Edwards (D) in the runoff.

It sure was evident in the parish-level results tonight.

Rispone shite in his own hat going after Abraham the way he did.

That brings up a good point.

Why the heck didn't our republican majorities put a bunch of legislation on his desk to veto? Tort reform should have been on his desk and have him in ads all year explaining why he vetoed

JBE will for sure shutdown LSU football if he feels he needs to now.

I hate to say it but Sentrius was right. I cringed when Rispone went negative but thought it still wouldn’t be enough for JBE to get re-elected. I was wrong, rispones shady tactics and selfishness cost the GOP the governorship. Ralph would have been a great governor.

Risone’s campaign was entirely about invoking Trump. That’s a fact.

Maybe the Abraham voters didn't want to be CUCKS.

Isn't that what y'all called Bernie supporters who voted for Hillary??

Though no bigger cuck than Ted Cruz.

Trump is creating jobs, JBE and LA is losing them. There is no comparison. One melted over Hillary losing and has been melting for 3 years, the other is pissed because no jobs are coming to LA.

He sure loved talking about firing the waterboy if LSU was last in football.
I got tired of that sound bite.

This is the main problem with JBE. There are no honest or competent Democrats in Louisiana Politics. The buffoons he has running state agencies are the real problem.

Our election is going to be eerily similar to Kentucky.

Deep red down the ticket, but bad R candidate at the top.

Most Republicans in this state are RINOs. Just look at all the Abraham supporters that voted for JBE.

Both sides hardcore bases act EXACTLY the same when they lose. It’s quite comical
