The amount of people who sat home is very high likely.
How you lose Jefferson parish is the cringe part. And then Ardoine having 150k more votes.

The autopsy of this election is going to show just how bad of a candidate he was.

Ardoin has ~110,000 than Edwards

How the frick did JBE pick up 100,000+ more votes than in 2015 but win by 10 less percentage points?

United Republican Party.
Rispone lit fire to that possibility.

Trump can’t carry a politician either

JBE is not that bad. Better governor than Jindal. I hate the fact that the media is going to spin this as a referendum on Trump but honesty that is the worst part of this at the end of the day. Louisiana’s problems don’t have a political solution and anyone who thought Rispone or anyone else could have fixed this pit latrine of a state is just delusional.

Rispone tried to use LR3, the local group, but they had committed to Abraham before Rispone entered the race. Rispone didn't have much choice, and it showed.

JBE 50.7%
Rispone 49.3%.
I predicted those numbers. Of course I had Rispone winning. My candidate prediction was wrong but by percentages were dead on.

Well damn, I guess we will continue to be dead last in the nation for economic growth

Once Abraham entered, the LAGOP should've united behind him.
But they didn't, and here we are.

Trump can’t carry Rispone.

Rispone supporters like you and your buddy boat were such raging assholes to Abraham supporters that you turned them away.
I really hoped and prayed this was not going to be the case but it's reality and these dudes just learned a very harsh lesson tonight. A very harsh and painful lesson.
You just cannot piss off voters you will need later, you just cannot.

I had Riapone 50.5.
Didnt realize how disliked he was in South LA.

enough Abraham voters going to Edwards or staying home.
Show your numbers. I see no such conclusion based on the results.
There was some movement from Abraham to JBE in very small Parishes but not nearly enough to make a difference

Yeah, a handful of people posting on the internet that hurt a few people’s feelings turned the ride of a state gubernatorial election.
