How come South Louisiana Cajuns can do the right thing and vote Rispone even though they initially went Abraham, but his own constituency can't? Pathetic.

Just go ahead and say it, we're a welfare state.

Louisiana is absolutely a welfare state and I will tell you this...average voter has more socialist tendencies than your average American voter. Don’t believe me? Go to these rural towns like...Hackberry, LA. Did you know the town actively keeps businesses out so it can prop up the Park and Recreation Center that makes food? And that’s hardcore Republicans...and I’m like...nobody sees anything wrong with that? It’s socialism.

Don't see how you can pin it on North Louisiana. I live in Abraham's home Parish and it's going to go overwhelmingly for Rispone.

Rispone is just a terrible candidate who beat a good candidate with an unethical campaign.

Did you know that back in the 80’s, the majority of our state government’s funding came from oil revenues, the gas tax, and casino gambling? Today, oil revenues are like 20%.
People got used to everything being free.

LA has a bloated state workforce that needs to be reduced through cutting spending and attrition.

These guys were military Trump voters also. I tried to tell them how we are the only state with lost jobs since Trump came into office but they aren't the ones that are out of a job. So like you say, bloated state workforce is good for JBE.

North Louisiana is a small percentage of this states population. Otherwise, Abraham would be running away with this thing right now.

This will be far from the 2015 election though. The Trump factor is strong here.
