2016 Trump Tower Meeting looks Increasingly like a Setup by Russian and Clinton Operatives

The June 2016 Trump Tower meeting between high-ranking members of the Republican presidential campaign staff and a Russian lawyer with Kremlin ties remains the cornerstone of claims that Donald Trump colluded with Russia to steal the election.
A growing body of evidence, however, indicates that the meeting may have been a setup — part of a broad effort to tarnish the Trump campaign involving Hillary Clinton operatives employed by Kremlin-linked figures and Department of Justice officials. This view, that the real collusion may have taken place among those who arranged the meeting rather than the Trump officials who agreed to attend it, is supported by two disparate lines of evidence pulled together for the first time here: newly released records and a pattern of efforts to connect the Trump campaign to Russia.
The first line of evidence includes emails, texts, and memos recently turned over to Congress by the Department of Justice. They show how closely senior Justice Department officials and the Federal Bureau of Investigation worked with employees of Fusion GPS, a Washington-based research firm reportedly paid $1 million by Clinton operatives to dig up dirt on the Trump campaign.
They reveal that then-Associate Deputy Attorney General Bruce Ohr, the fourth-highest-ranking official at DOJ, coordinated before, during and after the election with Fusion GPS founder Glenn Simpson, who did work for the Clinton campaign and Russians; and former British intelligence officer Christopher Steele, who was employed by Simpson.

The Left would rather focus on the fact that the meeting occurred (it did). They have no interest in the fact it produced nothing. That does not fit their narrative and quite frankly, their desire. They want Trump to be an evil man. And this meeting gives them that.

I remember how absurd it was how the D's and the media immediately jumped on Trump for calling the Russians to release Hillary's missing e-mails. That sort of reaction to his casual, off the cuff comment reminded me of the crazy guy from the movie The Jerk - " Hey ! He's not carnival personnel !! "

Our Obama politically charged FBI also paid for this oppo research and colluded with the Russians. (They truly are guilty of what they accuse) This alone is abhorrent sedition bordering on treason.

This has been apparent from the beginning. The Clinton's, the DNC, the FBI, Fusion GPS etc are all guilty of what they accuse the Trump administration of.

This has been obvious ever since it was revealed that Fusion GPS, et al, met with the 'Russian official" immediately before and after the meeting.
Nothing about the meeting would have been illegal - or even unethical in the political sense of what happens in every election - even IF there had been no attempted sting going on. There is nothing politically wrong with receiving true information from any source - with possible exception if you are out trying to purchase it. (ahem - like the Clinton/DNC coalition)
This thing stinks from day one.
IF Ohr - as 4th in charge of FBI - was involved in this attempted sting, then that should be criminal.
And negate anything that flowed from the 'investigation' that it prompted. = fruit of the poisoned tree. But as far as I know, they have no 'fruit' from this two year insult to the character of the DOJ/FBI/CIA/NSA
