I wonder if this melt would be bigger than 2016 if the R's keep the house and senate

The only melt that will eclipse it is when that Senate majority grows into a filibuster-proof majority.

I don't think what happens if the above happens could be classified as "melt"... We might come up with a new term to respond to the reaction from the left...

Based on what I’ve seen, I think the GOP keeps the Senate. The House is harder to call.

Wrong. Dispirited and demoralized Conservatives basically fled the board en masse for a couple of weeks. That's not a melt. That's restraint.

I still don't see how this can be viewed as a positive (losing the House), especially considering that idiot Maxine taking over finances. I mean holy shite is that scary.

Is it a good thing when half of the country approves of the job it’s President is doing?

Shiiiit, I left for at least a month. I just couldn't fathom people electing a community organizer for a second time. Some events in life are just too dumb to comment on.

I think that's the new normal. Maybe not even new as it may have been the norm for some time now.

Easy come, easy go. One day later (10/29), NM2 moved back to Toss-Up.

Since Clinton, Only Bush had a higher approval rating 2 years in...and of course, he had the 9/11 bump.

Are you honest enough to admit that?

I'm not buying that the Democrats are going to flip all of these seats. Not buying it at all.

If the republicans keep the entire government another two years and do nothing to drastically curtail entitlements and implement some sort of litigation reforms on federal courts they do not deserve any of our votes.

I hope they win and I hope they actually do major changes conservative, small government advocates will admire.
