I read yesterday where some black entertainer is building a safe haven for oppressed black people to move to in Senegal to the tune of about $6B.

Lets see how that works out.

People are free to do as they wish. It’s the great thing about this country. Wish them well.

If they want to self-segregate, then more power to ‘em. Freedom, frick yeah.

But...stand or fall on your own. If it starts to crumble, don’t come back with the ‘separate is inherently unequal’ shite. You wanted separate...you got it.

Nothing wrong with it at all. In fact I wish there was an entire city made up of only black people, black politicians, and a black police department. Will only take a few years to see that the complaints made by black people in that community mirror the ones around the nation in diverse cities

I grew up in this town.

It was called New Orleans Circa 1980s and 90s

Not enough land for 19 families and still expect to have a “hunting/shooting” space.

Well, if you go with high rises you can put the families on part of the property and leave 90 or so for hunting, shooting, and farming...

It sounds "great" to someone that doesn't know anything about any of that... Personally, I think there is one family that convinced 18 other families to "go in" with them and you will see that family haul arse with the money...

On the same note, are they declaring the area autonomous? I had read they were building a "city". Also, if they are recruiting other members are they able to discriminate with a "blacks only" tag?

Why do black people act like they are safer around other blacks than around white people? Do they really believe this? Do they not know the number one cause of black males under 35 is homicide by another black male?

“ We’ll have a sportsman area, like a Black sportsman area with fishing, hunting, shooting range, ATV trails.”

They gonna find out real quick that 96 acres isn’t that big when the non-sportsmen of that group get tired of constant noise from a shooting range and ATV trails so close to their houses. Not to mention that hunting clubs usually have 70-100+ acres per member depending on the habitat. These people are going to end up setting aside 5-10 acres for their entire community to hunt on. They’re either going to kill or run off every critter in those woods in short order because of the amount of hunting pressure on a small area or they’re going to end up having an accident with multiple families hunting such a small tract.

If they want a sportsman area, dig out a 2-3 acre pond, stock it and call it a day. They don’t have enough land for the rest

It seems to me that the biggest threat to black people will be living amongst them...other black people.

According to a documentary, there were black communities that were isolated in valleys/hollars in East Tennessee, late 1800s through middle 1900s. They were intelligent hard working people who had their own schools. I suppose it broke down after WW II when men went to the cities for higher paying industrial jobs.

this totally destroys the whole myth blm is built on. they're allegedly being oppressed. if that were true, they wouldn't be able to buy land, much less for this particular cause. they have been given the liberty to purchase land to live as they see fit. no one stopped them. so much for systemic racism

The problem I see is that black people kill most of the black people who get killed.

I don't see how this solves anything.

If we created autonomous reservations like what was provided for Indian groups, I wonder how many blacks would live there?

Using the Democrat model of Rural infestation ...How long will it be before the Feds come in a start building 20 story condos with gates and security to guard the oppressed New Yorker's escaping Cuomo and De Blasio?

I agree. Make a decent sized lake and stock with catfish and bream and then use 15-20 acres for farming. No way to hunt big game with those numbers on a small tract. This is if the budgeted enough for tractors etc to maintain and work the land. Could be a nice community but 19 families is a shitload of people. Place is gonna be anything but peaceful once all those cousins show up and start ripping on quads and dirt bikes.
