I like your posts and lack of name-calling/aggression. Kudos. Can you point me to a link?

Don't need a link, it's common sense.

$15 an hour and a 40 hour work week is $30k a year.

Do you really think unskilled labor should be paid $30k a year?

Do you realize some business owners with a couple of employees pay themselves around the same amount and invest the rest back into the business to help it grow?

Here is a little nugget for you. That $30k a year is actually a lot more depending on the state you live in. Because there are additional taxes that an employer has to pay on top of the workers salary, to the tune of 10-17% on tops of that $30k.

Why does some of the swamp want higher minimum wage besides vote pandering....TAXES.

If you cause wages to increase and inflation to increase, they get more of our money to steal.

Why $15? Why not $20, $30, or $50/hr?

Bingo, it's a TON more in taxes. That is until millions of workers across the US get laid off because they aren't worth $15 an hour.

I’m seeing some posts arguing that increasing the min wage will shut down small businesses
You may want to read your own link a little closer.

"As we noted in 2017, the study’s fatal flaw was that its analysis excluded large multistate businesses with more than one location."

The higher you raise the minimum wage the more they profit and the less value society receives in returns

the price of a Big Mac goes up, so what? Is that some huge societal loss?

Not at all, except for those people who are gonna be making thst 15 minimum wage, because those are the ones who buy the cheaper fast food anyway. So when their wages go up, and the prices of thr goods thry buy go up. Guess what. We are back to square one, with thr same old argument. Its a vicious cycle that never stops, and that's the plan.

Here’s another example. My dad is a farmer.
When I was a kid, my dad had at least 6 people working for him. One row ( then 2 row) peanut combines, 2 row cotton pickers, etc... made way to 4 row and 6 row and 8 row.

Trailers got bigger. Cotton went from trailers to modules to bales.

And so on and so on. My dad manages the exact same farm now ... with one employee. Technology will eliminate the chaff.

So if you increase min wage to $15 an hour, what do you do to those who made $15 beforehand? Do they get a raise? Repeat up the chain.

Now that everyone has effectively gotten a pay raise, what do you think happens to the price of goods and services to counteract paying everyone more money?

The article linked says the data isn’t supportive of what was warned of prior to the minimum wage being raised, and I don’t know what exactly was warned of, but all else equal, an increased minimum wage will increase the cost of labor and thus decrease demand for labor, which may manifest in many different ways: fewer hours worked, fewer employees, fewer employers, etc.

As the article seems to almost admit, this can not be seen by the data, because the counterfactual isn’t observable. How does the author know that growth wouldn’t have exceeded that in the data had the minimum wage not been increased? They would have to admit they can’t say. Using data to refute economic principles is to misunderstand economic methodology. This is not to say some empirical predictions about the consequences weren’t wrong, they probably were, but the criticism of minimum wage increases still stands.

How old are you? This seems very naive. A few basic points:

Your pay should be based on the value of the job you perform, not what the employee needs.

The minimum wage is for an entry level position and not meant to be a living wage.

If you have $100/hr to spend on help. Do you hire more people at $8/hr or $15/hr.

I worked through high school and college at jobs that wouldn’t have existed at $15/hr. Do we really need more kids with no work experience out there?

This isn’t that hard.
