If you just want to argue or you don’t believe or if you do and don’t think I should talk about Jesus on a political board, I ask you to please just skip this thread.

In this time of uncertainty that many are living in right now I just want to say God is so so good.

He has a plan for each and every one of us. And his plan for your life will far exceed anything you could have dreamed up for yourself.

You just have to believe in his son, ask forgiveness of your sins and past mistakes, and pick the cross up and follow him. Read Gods word, pray to him, and obey(which the Holy Spirit you will receive makes possible).

I went 32 years of complete non belief. A string of things happened which caused me to believe in Jesus and in that moment of belief I was saved by the grace of God and received the Holy Spirit and I have not been the same since. The old me died.

I will NEVER be able to explain the joy and happiness our father provides, but I try my best to tell as many people as I can. Because nobody in 32 years really ever tried to explain what he can do for someone to me. I only ever heard, “you better get yourself in church boy”.

Well church did not save me, a preacher did not save me, God saved me. And although church and listening to someone preaching the word and being plugged into a Christian community is very important, the MOST important thing, is that personal relationship with Jesus. Just you and him. Which I believe he is trying to open our eyes up to with this quarantine situation.

He will fill any hole you may think you have missing. He will be your mother, he will be your father, he will be your drug, he will be your National Championship, he will be your friend, he will be your spouse, he will be everything you need no matter the need. You just need to let him in.

I pray whoever needs to see this thread will let down their heavy burden and allow God to take it from here. I pray for all people effected by this virus and the ones who have older and younger relatives with conditions that this could be fatal to. I pray for all businesses and people in financial trouble to be able to find a way until this thing passes. I pray we all find peace with the Lord Incase some of us don’t have many days on this earth left. Amen.

Love you guys, and if anyone wants to chat I’ll leave my phone number. Just let me know.

Thank you so much to all the ones who have sent inspiring post and blessings my way in this thread it really does mean a lot to me. God bless everyone.

I'm with you. I don't need or trust "scientists". I trust in GOD. If we pray, HE will answer.

Great testament. Amen! I, too, am a believer. He has carried me through tough times. May all who read this thread (believers and non believers alike) have a great day. May their families be protected.

This is the Politics board.

Some religious discussion has legit ties to politics, but this thread is pure proselytization.

It has no place here.

I don’t want to go to the Epicurean Board and read about how pleased you are with your vasectomy, either.

You and Powerman took up damn near a page talking about speaking Spanish and messican food. How the hell is that political?

I've tried, or maybe I haven't. I believe in God, Jesus, etc. But I was raised in a devout/strict Catholic family and it soured me. To be honest I have held onto the belief, mainly through my adult years, that since it was forced upon me through childhood and teen years that I HAD to do this, HAD to believe that, that it made me not want to be involved. Again, I believe, but it's just not something I have ever felt like I "needed" or had to have in my life to get by. When i go to church (mostly on holidays) I really don't get anything out of it. Maybe that's my fault, maybe it's the fault of my parents. I don't know, maybe it's just me....

Nothing more powerful than a personal testimony. We can argue about a lot of things pertaining to God but no one can argue when they see a life changed from the inside out!

Thanks for sharing this great truth in love.

I wonder if women on dating sites understand that "born-again Christian" is probably the biggest red flag they could ever wave.
