You have Texas in the bag now for old Joey!

I trust drive-thru voting more than mail-in ballots.

Negative. I would be shocked if Trump lost Texas.

I mean do they require an id and signature like normal voting?
I’ve never heard of drive-thru voting. Im lucky Louisiana isn’t still making us chisel out our ballots like the flintstones.

Houston politics sucks as bad as California. I live in Houston and have wanted to move since I got here 5 years ago and praying for a potential upward move in career and GTF out of Houston and cities in general.

I mean, if it’s not legal, then that seems like a pretty good reason to challenge it right?

Why would drive in voting ensure this outcome? Drive-in voting will be "verified" in the same manner as in person voting, will it not?

Whats the argument against these counting?
There isn’t any. This is in-person early voting.

W appointee...of course.

The issues in the case have been out there for months, so to wait to file until the early voting period is a strategy.
Oh dear God. Its one a several methods including absentee and in-person voting.
By this standard just having to drive and open a door at a voting location is "voter suppression ".

This lawsuit is disgraceful. It's vote suppression.
No it isn’t. The argument is that there isn’t as much oversight with “drive thru” votes and there is a much higher potential for fraud. It wouldn’t be that big of a deal if it wasn’t for the piece of shite vote harvesting democrats that are currently harvesting as many votes as money can buy. There is a crap ton of video evidence of this taking place. It’s an irrefutable fact that the dems are buying votes. Allowing anything other than the normal voting procedures is, and should be, considered suspect.

If the Secretary of State or the AG want it shot down, the 5th Circuit in New Orleans will shoot it down. They're reliable.

"The argument was that the State Constitution allowed for this ONLY for handicapped voters. Because of "2020", they allowed others to use the method."
And I will add that, while I am no expert in this area, the US Constitution requires that state legislatures set voting rules. So, when you have government officials other than state legislatures--governors by executive order, Secretaries of State, bureaucrats, etc.--making changes to election rules, you get into some choppy legal waters.

U.S. District Judge Andrew Hanen was set to hear an emergency bid at 10:30 a.m. local time (16:30 GMT) by a Republican state legislator and others who accuse Harris County Clerk Chris Hollins, a Democrat, of exceeding his constitutional authority by allowing drive-through voting as an alternative during the coronavirus pandemic.
The only valid question here is did the County Clerk exceed his legal authority in creating this chaos. The votes cast in the midst of this is moot; if he acted outside his legal authority, the votes should be cast aside and the County Clerk should be charged with election fraud and held accountable.

So why is President Daddy fighting it then?
Posted on 11/2/20 at 3:27 pm to SUB
My issue with it is that I myself cannot do it, so neither should they. If this is allowed, then every other county and parish should be able to sue for voter suppression.

This is why I have no issue with the Rs challenging it.
That is why we have the system we do. I have no issue with anyone demanding an action they believe to be illegal to be supported.
I am not opposed to the voting itself. I am not opposed to a suit to challenge it

Republicans are pushing this to disenfranchise everyone who voted in person from their cars. Duh. That’s their consistent play.
