I can’t believe we have another 3+ weeks of this lockdown. Can’t wait to see the suicide numbers in the next 6-12 months.

We don't know what our number will be yet because most of our 300k+ are still in the early stages.

of the 300k+ we have had less than 20k listed as recovered.

My gut feeling is that we will have a low death ratio for positive tests vs those that died, but atm, we can only go by the rate of people who are dying vs population..

Give it time.

There was a reason why my post stated At The Moment.

What would China's numbers be if they told the truth?

Fair enough. However, this is about the 3rd or 4th time I posted these stats since we were at 15th and there is always someone who predicts our number will rise dramatically in the coming days. Now it has risen, however, all other countries have risen more so our place continues to fall.

Clearly, compared to other countries, we are keeping people alive at a greater rate than others.

Going down the list on worldmeters site, 22 states are not reporting any recovered and 7 other states report 10 or fewer recovered. The number recovered is higher than 20k.

Death rate (or mortality rate) usually refers the deaths in relation to an overall population; whereas, you’re referencing the case fatality rate, or the deaths in relation to the population of cases.
