No one is going to sort mass shootings by race, at least not publicly.
But, per Grok:
I have compiled a list of cities with the highest number of mass shootings based on available data from 2013 to 2023, using the Gun Violence Archive’s definition of a mass shooting (four or more people shot, excluding the perpetrator, at one location at roughly the same time).
- Chicago, IL: Frequently cited as having the highest number of mass shootings, with 435 incidents from 2013 to 2023. Chicago’s high gun violence rate, often linked to gang activity and socioeconomic factors, contributes significantly.
- Baltimore, MD: Noted for a high per capita rate, with 81 mass shootings from 2014 to 2022. The city’s concentrated urban violence and poverty are often cited as factors.
- Washington, DC: Has one of the highest per capita rates, with 10.4 shootings per 100,000 people from 2014 to 2022. Its small geographic area amplifies per capita statistics.
- Philadelphia, PA: Among the top cities, with 74 mass shootings from 2014 to 2022. Urban violence and access to firearms are key drivers.
- Detroit, MI: Saw a 144.2% increase in shootings from 2019 to 2020, with 67 mass shootings from 2014 to 2022. Economic decline and gang-related incidents are significant contributors.
- Los Angeles, CA: Despite California’s strict gun laws, Los Angeles ranks high due to its large population, with 65 mass shootings from 2014 to 2022.
- Memphis, TN: Noted for a high per capita rate, with 58 mass shootings from 2014 to 2022, often tied to crime and socioeconomic challenges.
- St. Louis, MO: Has a high incidence rate, with 56 mass shootings from 2014 to 2022, driven by urban violence and poverty.
- New Orleans, LA: Recorded 47 mass shootings from 2014 to 2022, with Louisiana’s high per capita rate (4.3 per 100,000) reflecting broader state trends.
- Minneapolis, MN: Mentioned in 2023 summaries for notable mass shooting victims, with 45 incidents from 2014 to 2022, often linked to urban crime spikes.

Lack of male parenting in these homes is by far the biggest factor in these thugs growing up the way they do, but let's continue to ignore that and blame whitey and the cops.

It’s like this, if you hear on the news: “Mass shooting at a concert” you can safely assume the shooter is a black guy. This also applies to funerals, parties, graduations, sporting events and nightclubs.
If you hear on the news: “Mass shooting at a school” you can safely assume it’s a white guy or a transgender. This also applies to churches, malls, supermarkets or workplaces.

Your source changed the definition in order to make you and other black people feel better about your race.
You source described a mass homicide with guns rather than a mass shooting. Mass shooting don’t require death, in fact they are often noted for horrible urban marksmanship. Regardless a mass shooting event occurs when four or more people get shot-not necessarily killed.

“Let’s see, how can we manipulate this data to exclude blacks? They are really bad shots, so let’s exclude those injured by gunfire and only count fatalities. Excellent! And let’s increase the number killed from 3 to 4 because there’s a large number of blacks killing 3 people. And we can claim that most of them are gangbangers, so let’s exclude gang violence! Perfect! That’ll exclude the majority of black mass shooters so we can fool the public into thinking it’s all angry white guys doing all the mass shootings!”

Who still thinks my statement is inaccurate? If so, please provide data. If my sources above are incorrect, I have no problem admitting so.
A mass shooting is a mass shooting is a mass shooting.
People can only be bothered to give a shite when it crosses over into civilised society.

Can anyone find statistics on gang shootings by race and/or gang violence by race? I can’t find anything

Gotta love the poliboard, where we hate blacks so much that we can't even admit that mass shooters are more likely to be white....
FBI crime stats prove that 2% of 13% = 50%+ of the violent crime in the United States. That fact remains.

There were 105 mass shootings in Chicago last year. You didn't hear about those on the news.
They weren't white mass shootings.

Yes. Same week a black kid shoot up a school in Jasmine Crock-of-shite's district.

The gun control brigade loves to use “mass shootings” as a rallying cry and then scream “racism” when you start asking more questions.

Lol. “It’s not a mass shooting! It was an argument!”
Hilarious.

Onmyracebaitinggrind is very concerned about whitey mass shooting him and his #marginalized #underserved communities of color

Never mind that using his definition of “mass shootings,” results in less than 1% of people killed by gun violence dying in a mass shooting.

Check out this graphic from a news story from 2020. Notice the wording. "Black communities bear the brunt of mass shootings," and not black people doing the shooting.

One way the data is being manipulated, as pointed out earlier, is by removing "gang shootings" from the statistics. The reason is likely because the overwhelming % of gang shootings are committed by blacks and Hispanics.
I searched and could not find ANY data at all on gang shootings by race, even though that data is separated from the "mass shootings by race" data. It's out there. It's just not being made public.

You can pretty much take the “mass shootings” that the gun grabbers regularly post about and subtract the public mass shootings that OMG provided, multiply by .95 and arrive at a good approximation.

No no. Don’t misunderstand me. I’m only agreeing based on YOUR link, which is a left wing source that conveniently excludes mass shootings from gangs and shooting victims that survive and curiously narrow criteria. I don’t believe for one second there are more white mass shooters either numerically or by capita. So back to my first response to you…. Who gets to define mass shooting?
