% chance Trump is not on the ballot in November?

I have a friend that's usually sane and he is telling me there is some huge bombshell that will drop not long before the election that will be so bad that Trump will not even be on the ballot.
Not sure what he is smoking but he seems pretty confident about this.
Of course my question is how the hell would he of all people be privy to this information and why would the opposition bother waiting this long?

Only way that happens is if trump chooses to drop out before the election. Seems highly unlikely

Honestly can't imagine just about anything that would make trump willingly take his name off the ballot. Just not in his character

Trump has been the MOST scrutinized POTUS in our history, and it's not close.
