Both moves would de-emphasize the coach's influence and provide more continuity to the game
Plus we would get a much better view of who is really an NBA prospect and who isn't
Nothing worse to me than Bo calling timeout with 7:45 left, we come back and play 12 sec then have a TV TO

30 second shot clock in the NIT was a nice compromise. And the teams weren't throwing shite up either. It just prevented them from sitting around for 10 seconds each possession (which might be a result of the teams with short rotations needing a break i.e Duke/Wisconsin).

The TV timeouts are awful, but I don't see them going away.
30 second shot clock and defensive 3 seconds are the only rules I want to see changed.

Don't get rid of TV TO
Reduce the number of team TOs
30 sec shot clock is a move in the right direction

Agreed. I mentioned this earlier.
It irritates the hell out of me to sit there and watch a basketball game with 12 seconds left that lasts 25 minutes to finish between the fouls and the never-ending timeouts.

I think they should go to something similar to the NBA TV timeout rule.
5 timeouts are fine but I think the 16:00 and 12:00 TV timeouts of both halves should be charged to one of the teams. Keep the 8:00 and 4:00 as TV timeouts (no team TO charged).
For example:
16:00 Timeout charged to Home Team (both halves)
12:00 Timeout charged to Away Team (both halves)
If either team calls a TO between 20:00 and 16:00 that acts as the first TV timeout and there isn't one under 16:00. If either team calls a TO between 16:00 and 12:00 that acts as the second TV timeout and there isn't one under 12:00. If there is no timeout taken in that period, charge it to the team that was not charged with the 16:00 TO.
Both teams are then left with 3 other timeouts to use as they please.
Also wouldn't mind if teams were be limited to 2 TOs under 2:00. 1 full and 1 30.

All you need is one change to fix College basketball and the NBA. Stop drafting players before they are ready

Too many timeouts. It's bullshite that the last minute of a close game lasts for 20 minutes. That garbage is unwatchable. It ruins the whole damn experience....you can have an exciting back and forth game until the final minute and then you have a timeout fest.

One way to crack down on fouls is to make any foul with less than a minute left in the game a double bonus.
Maybe even start a triple bonus after a certain number of team fouls.

it doesn't need to be "fixed"

I think they should go 28, honestly. Happy medium. 35 is just too much wasted time moving the ball pointlessly around the perimeter.

Johnny Jones already thought that was the rule.

Id like to see a 30 second shot clock like the NIT. I don't think it has to be a mirror of the NBA to be great.
I would be ok with cutting down the number of timeouts

The number of TO's should have been addressed years ago. As far as the shot clock, I think it should be somewhere between where it is now and the NBA's 24.
A 24 second shot clock wouldn't improve the game because I think there would be just as many forced shots. Teams would struggle to get into their sets regularly within that amount of time, IMO.

I'll add that a video review of goaltending inside of 2 minutes should be instituted

30 second shot clock (if the women can handle it without being rushed the men certainly can) and widen the lane.
ETA: It's going to take more than just two rule changes to fix it though.
