Will I be having problems with this burner on Saturday? If so, what do you recommend to avoid embarrassing myself?

Wouldn't hurt to get some oxidation out of the way first. Maybe add some salt to it.

Do they work as advertised? I just noticed these on a post here the other day. Interesting concept with the added aluminum dowels to get the surface area up.

They don't include the directions anymore?

When I got mine it said something to the effect of soap and water. Flush. Fill with water and a box of salt, boil. Rinse well.

I bought a smaller pot one time that said to run with oil after washing. Rancid cooking oil does not sound like good eats to me.

I bought one Saturday and used it. I'm used to a regular 120 quart a d can roll that one in about 12 minutes. I rolled the 100 quart rocket pot in 7 minutes. I'm sold.

I would change out the regulator to a high flow. I use the same burner.

A five gallon tank and a 20+ psi rev will boil a 100 quart pot just fine.

If tank was bought from Lowe's pre filled... It's likely half full. Get it filled completely at a hardware or fruitstand.

First boil or no?

My double burner will cut off at high flow rates. Hoping a bigger bottle will change that.

Cajun Rocket Pot in my opinion is the best pot on the market. Have an 80 & 120 and love them......great for gumbo as well as boiling. They donate to our Gumbo Cookoff each year.

Have questions call the office & ask for Todd.....he's the engineer who designed the pots & is a great guy.

Tell him I referred you.
