How long have you had your pillow?

I've had the same pillow for probably close to 20 years now.
This pillow has been with me through puberty, through college, through those awkward few years after college, and been with me through marriage till my freaking wife decided that she was too disgusted by it and threw it away last night.
WTF? Surely I'm not the only one who has had the same pillow for most of their life...right? It is/was the perfect stiffness, the perfect height, the perfect...the perfect pillow goddammit!
She said it was disgusting and probably a health hazard. I think she is just jealous of the memories that me and that pillow have had together.

I change mine out every couple years. The ones I recently bought are too poooofy.

I've had my pillow for about 9 months. I got it when I purchased our new memory foam mattress, they threw it in for free. We usually change out pillows every year or two at the most.

im picky about my pillows so ill keep them for as long as i can. The one i have now isnt that old, a year or 2. But i'll ride it as long as i can

After 10 years my wife threw out my two down pillows and replaced them with 95% feather / 5% down and they suck!!!
Found real down pillows for like $85 a piece on net (kingsize) in the meantime using wally world foam shite and one very compressed feather pillow.
Yeah I keep mine a long time. They were sweat stained and nasty but man I slept awesome on them.
