I see the article is a week old so it's possible this has been discussed, but Buddy Guy will be in BR in a few months.

I no longer live in BR, but I just wanted to pass this along.

Buddy comes home

I will personally give $1 to anyone who attends the show and asks him, "Will you be my buddy, guy?"

Never been. I live in Houston now and he will be at the HOB the night before. I'm thinking HOB would be a better venue. But who knows.

So sad. I guess this thread would get more hits if there was a Drake video linked.

Blues legend. HOF member. BR native. Performing in his home town and this gets nothing.

Beiber threads gets more attention. Music Board sucks. For shame.

I luckily had the honor to interview Buddy back in early 90's when he came to Baton Rouge for his family reunion. I knew his brother Sam, because he listened to my blues show on KLSU. Went to a local hotel and the entire family was there and Buddy was hanging out in the lobby with his brother and Raful Neal. I knew Raful also, so that helped as well. Buddy was really cool and talked to me for quite awhile. Got Raful in on it too talking about their old days playing together.

Later that night Buddy showed up at Raful's place...The Starlight Diamond Lounge and played with the band....awesome time!

Did you not see the multiple page thread about blues music and the love Buddy was getting?

This music board isn't as shitty as you goons make it out to be

Exactly. Only a idiot would listen to 36 over Gangstarr. You really can't even compare the two.
