LSU may have the worst promotions department in the SEC. They take a football approach to basketball in thinking the program will sell itself. That could have something to do with our AD being from Duke where that's the case. The average person around town has no idea when the next home game is.

People need to email the AD and anyone else important and get them to step their game up. Pack the Pmac used to be a fantastic promotion for the women's team. LSU needs to pull that out for the final home game.

LSU hasn't sold 10,000 tickets for a game this season. That's a joke. Email the AD.

Agreed. Can't figure out why they never had a men's pack the pmac. Although it's embarrassing that we even need to go that route.

This team is too fun to watch to only draw 6k

People are saying how the crowds are coming back.. but that's not really true. It's the same people going to every game for the most part. The pmac's only been half full at its best this season.

This team deserves to play in front of a great crowd this season. They may not do much postseason wise this season, but they're bringing energy and fun back to the program. Once the program starts rolling they can look back on this season and know they were the cornerstone to the rebirth of a program.

I'd like to see the women's team play right before the men's. We did this in
La. High School in the late 60's and it was fun. We all liked watching the girls, then we'd play. We had cheerleaders, small band, and concessions at a Maximum. Next year could be changed and scheduled this early. It would boost attendance and create excitement.

Was saying to a friend today that all men's games should be priority point games for TAF members, students, etc. I think that is the first way to get people in the seats without spending any money. Offer extra points to move you up the ranks or bonus points to buy ticket packages.

Cable Guy will remember this, when we were students we had to get donations from local businesses to get shirts made.

I completely agree!

I also think a CJJ website and weekly videos like they do for football, would be great for fans and recruiting.

Last two games have picked up in terms of actual attendance. The Arkansas game was fairly packed in the lower sections.

But yes there needs to be more promotion and giveaways to get butts in the seats.
