If you have influence with Chicken and his caporegimes please ask them to unanchor my Cowpunk! thread. I cant ask on the Help Board as that would let the kitten out of the burlap as Col Potter used to say.

When I think of Power Pop, I usually do think back to the 70's. But then, what better 80's example than anything by XTC??

I like that record but I'm not sure I would call it power pop.
I post a lot of older stuff here but I try to avoid living completely in the past -- I recently heard a nice track from a few months ago, "Millionaires Are Getting Young" by an Australian band called Mink Jaguar. Power pop fans should check it out.

I may have oversold that, but they are the first band I think of when someone says power pop.
