Take Back The Asylum

Yeah, I was banned for over a month for a pic infraction. Not reinstated until a non-regular here started a thread on the Help Board. A bit much IMO but no biggie really. I checked in now 'n then to check status and see what wassup on ST.
I think today's Board meeting thread sums up a lot. A lot of the best posters have faded from what I call Tard Fatigue. I was gonna check back in yesterday but the tardation was just too strong to overcome. I don't have any answers for it. The biggest single improvement could be an active moderator. If we had one that could only merge threads- that would be a breakthrough. There could be one thread for this whole week... 'Saints Defense Is Terrible'. That would have eliminated about half the chaff.
As stands now, gameday is full fledged inmates running the asylum. Forget about it. If it is tough game Monday is prolly still infested. A loss and there is no use posting until Wednesday at the earliest.
I had gotten quite tired of it all before bannation. I'm too Whodatted to the core and cannot bring myself to do Saints Report to quit though. When you see those dumbass and perpetually repeating threads call upon all you have and do not reply. One thing about the Saintards is that they don't have much endurance. Regulars endure! Keep the quality threads afloat. Even if you must take a break away remember the inmates are released when the season is over.
As for me, we have Mike Carey's crew officiating in Nashville this week.

My time as a member or number of posts may not suggest I'm anywhere near the veteran you guys are, but I've noticed a lot of the same things that were brought up in the board meeting thread.
First, blues is absolutely one of the best posters that I have read since coming around (especially about mock drafts and such).
Second, there are a lot of jack asses who make no sense.
Finally, I'm absolutely thrilled with our 9-3 record and although we may not be perfect, I don't see much to bitch about.
So here is to hoping I never have any moments of retard-um that makes you vets upset and also, welcome back blues.
ETA:

Welcome back, Blues! I always appreciate your threads. Hope to see you resume your regular duties here.
I read a couple of pages of the Board Meeting thread but did not post in it. I think there has to be a happy medium. You have to be able to say what you are seeing without being labeled a "Saintstard," though.
I've said the defense is terrible, but I also predicted that the Saints would win the next 4 games after the St. Louis loss on this very board. People said I was stupid, but I was right. It doesn't mean that the Saints defense can't be porous, though.
But, apart from all that, I'm glad that Blues is back and I hope that we can honestly discuss what we see on the field without overreacting, though. Maybe that's the key. I come to a message board to gripe sometimes, but it doesn't mean that I think the sky is falling.
By the way, the Saints offense (if they can give Brees protection), is good enough to take us a long way, so we need to understand what we are seeing out there on the field.
