It is a shame people hate Amy poehler so much. I think many people refuse to give this show a chance because of her. I was one of those people. I watched it last year and hated it.
I don't know what the heck happened between then and now, but the writers have been on fire. Easily one of the funniest shows out there.
And Amy isn't so bad. She grows on you.

this and the contestant episode have been the best of the season and yes the chris brown line was gold.

I think what they've done is toned Amy down a little and also feature her less. We've seen more from other characters and with people like Ron Swanson and Tom Haverford it makes the show better.

It is a good show. I didn't like the first season (I hated the pilot) but it got better towards the end. This season has been pretty solid from the get go, so I'm glad I stuck with it.

I liked what they did with the intern and Andy today as well. Actually I like all of the characters besides Amy Poehler's. As long as they don't feature her much more than the other cast members (and they've definitely done a good job toning her down), I like the show.

Thats signs of a good team of writers. They did the same thing on big bang theory. Originally the show was more about Lenard, than Sheldon. Slowly the featured Sheldon more and more because thats what drove the show. Props to the writers this show has made leaps and bounds since it first started.
