65.

There will be people tell you they are all the same. They are not. I’ve had three RTIC products and a Kysek. They all fell apart, feet coming off, latches rotting.

I have never had a problem w a yeti product. I take zero care of shite, and those keep not falling to shite

Canyon Outfitter 35, I like the smooth sides exterior because it takes up less space and it’s about a 100 dollars cheaper than a Yeti 45 (which is 37 quarts).

As long as baw puts huge Yeti stickers on Back and Side windows of truck it is all good. Yeti tattoo on forehead for super bonus points.

I have a 75 and a 45.
I use the 75 80% of the time FWIW.

RTICs are massive POS compared to Yetis.

I really like my 105. Small footprint but taller. Fits right under my bedcover when closed so its perfect. Nice to sit on too being a little higher.

I have a Tundra 45 that was a gift (from my wife no pics so I guess in a way I bought it myself) and no way would I spend that much myself. I did come with the sticker so people in traffic know how serious I am about preserving ice.

However... I love that damn thing. It fits perfectly in my cars, does what it’s supposed to do, and works great as cool storage even without ice.

The downside is that a 45 only colds two pony cans and a sandwich. If you are serious about maximizing cooler room in a small footprint, get a ARB Or Dometic fridge.

They’re nice I have one but for general farm and hunting use where you don’t need ice for more than a few days I’d rather use my lighter Igloos

I started off with a 20 Q roadie 6 years ago, and got a 45 Q last year.

45 - 50 Q is probably the biggest I'd go on a cooler if you're like me and do all the loading and carrying.

24 cans and 20lb of ice will fill the 45 Q up to about 75-80% capacity. I can fit 18 cans and 10lb of ice in my 20 Q.

I think I'm set for a while between those two.

The rtic 52 ultra-light is on sale right now for 150 bucks if it hasn't been said. Seems like a no brainer to me.

I 2nd the 75.

It’s heavy when full, but 1 man can handle it if needed.

Save your money. Go to Academy Sports and buy a Magellan. I bought the Magellan 75 quart in camo. I went to peel a sticker left on the cooler and the camo finish began to peel away. I called Magellan warranty to complain. to make a long story short, they sent me a new 75 qt cooler in tan color for free, and allowed me to keep the camo cooler as well. Great customer service, priced just right, and they hold ice just as well as a Yeti.

The 75 qt is to heavy to lift alone when filled, but I bought that size because I can freeze a 5 gal bucket of ice and dump it over in the chest. Go with a 50 gallon MAGELLAN

What if this was free? Would any of you go larger?

It won't be any lighter. jk

I have a 65. It goes into the back of the truck before it's full and doesn't come out until it's empty. Dang thing gets heavy.

the 65 is only 58qt. The 75 is a true 75qt. Both are heavy AF. I bought the 65 as it was a perfect fit in my boat, but it was too small for days where you catch a lot of fish. I would bring my 69qt No Colors cooler instead.

I know Yeti gets picked on, but the quality of the Yeti's I have are top notch. I found some good deals on Yeti Soft coolers on FB marketplace and I prefer the Flip 18 wayyy better than that piece of shite Rtic soft cooler.

I take very good care of my stuff, bought an RTIC 65 and it keeps ice about as well as a solo cup. It sucks. I have a buddy that keeps the same cooler in the cockpit of a 56 Viking and it holds ice well.

RTIC quality control is bad.

I’d just spend the money and get the Yeti. Get a 75 and be done with it.

Just bought a Kenai. It's the value cooler made by Grizzly (both made in Iowa). The 45 quart runs $200 and comes in 7 different color options.

Id get the 75. The 65 and 75 are absurdly heavy when theyre full. Might as well get more room out of it.

75 is the perfect size. It will hold plenty of beer and fit a deer.
I agree a 75 is perfect for a quartered deer. although if drinking for one a 45 will hold a case of beer and a 20lb bag of ice perfectly. When full I move my 75 with a fkn hand truck though.
