Yet another CHP timeline thread

Took the class last Saturday the 10th with my good buddy Bapple (highly recommend as he is super knowledgeable, friendly, and thorough). Filled out the online form that night. Did fingerprints at LSP HQ on Monday morning (the 12th). Just got the permit in the mail today (the 16th). Less than a week turnaround. .

Mine took 2.5 weeks,just came yesterday. I did get an email 2 weeks ago saying it was approved and my card says 2/02. I guess they mail a bunch out together

That ole baw is a hell of CHP training instructor....and he usually brings several guns to let you shoot as well

i did mail in and it took about 5 weeks with Thanksgiving christmas and new years all inbetween.

The one we did together expired already...hell a while back.
I had to do the full application again it was so long overdue back last year when I took the class in Crowley with Bapple.
ETA
Although I think maybe you and some of our other mutual friends may have renewed and I didn't....I think I may have heard that.

Always a pleasure dude. But you still have to teach me the Afghani shooting pose. We didn't get a chance to try it out at Precision...

It's hard for me to watch everybody else have fun shooting while I don't get to put a single round downrange. I usually take advantage of that when I teach a class on someone's property. That day my whole arsenal came with me!

Wife’s took 6 days (counting weekend and the holiday). Not too bad.
