specks = 7 points (cause you gotta be able to call)
snows = 5 points
mallards & Pintail = 4 points
Other Big ducks(widgeon, grays, spoonies, woodies, etc) 2

I like the point counting idea with the crowd that has to work.

6 ducks, 6 points+ 1 bonus point.
2 geese, 2 points+ 1 bonus point.

I'll make a suggestion..
Do the different points for better birds; however, make it a best of XX hunts for each hunter.. Meaning a hunter could hunt all 60 days in a season but you would only take the top 10 (assuming this is the number) hunts to calculate the total points for that person on that team.
And also us the same number of points as last time for geese.. It is definitely a bonus to get geese while duck hunting or vice versa.
Thoughts?

For teams how about doing someone from every region on a team. For example, one from nela, one from cenla, and so forth. Make it a little more spread out
