Congrats on getting your gun back Diesel, especially since it was a family gun and I know how much those mean! 
I can't believe that a-hole wanted to sell it back for $50. I would get banned if I said what I wanted to about that POS but at least he taught his son a decent fricking lesson. Thieves are pretty low in my book.

I got episode three arranged here already if you remember. 1000 acres of hog infested east Texas hardwoods to be hunted by Diesel, redneck, Jblood, and myself. The episode ends with all of us sharing the agreed upon bottle of Jack and admiring the pile of pork soon to grace our freezers.

In Late April we'll have a turkey hunting episode from Missouri. I was attacked by a bobcat up there last year so no telling what may happen with DT there

I had my Ruger M77 with a brand new Zeiss Conquest stolen out of my truck in the Nicholson area in early December. I don't think it's outside the realm of possability that it could be the same people who stole your rifle. I fantasize about getting my hands on the ones who did it, daily. The rifle was a gift from my late father and held a tremendous amount of sentimental value. Did your roomate get any contact information/description of the man who approached him with your gun? I'd like to investigate the subject myself or at least pass this information along to the authorities. Any information you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
