I've owned 2 Tundras and that window is down on sunny days. 4 windows down, sun roof open, back window down and jamming some Creed.

I haven't rode around with the windows down since I got my air conditioner fixed in college.

Farmers

For themselves? you sure about that? You can get a stripped down work package right now but I don't see many farmers driving anything less than a lariat or xlt

I myself enjoy my heated/cool seats and little bells and whistles. That not what gives you problems anyway - its all the sensors and def systems, etc that are aggravating

To an extent. You can get the work truck model. However, the production line is designed for the luxury SUV model we have now and sold as a truck. The quality of the working model often lags.

Man, few joys better in this world, then all the windows down in the springtime, 68 degrees out, I love it.

Everyone shite on the Avalanche/Escalade EXT but that midgate design had a cool feature where the back glass could be removed and stored away. Sure it was manual and a PITA though but nice in great weather with all the windows down and sunroof open.
change for a dollar?

I got a low mileage Tundra from my dad when he wanted to upgrade. I drove the Tundra for about a year before I knew it had a roll down rear window. The wife borrowed it and while attempting to adjust the side mirror she pushed the wrong button and lowered the rear window. Later that day she said I didn't know the rear window of your truck would roll down. I said me neither

It’s awesome in many ways. As previously mentioned it’s fantastic for sucking farts out. But for me it helps best in navigating traffic. The previous owner of my house turned the garage into a shop so I’m forced to park outside. There is always condensation on my windows in the morning. Coming out of the neighborhood I have to cross a 4 lane road with a turn lane in the middle. I always roll the back window down and go to the middle and look out the back before crossing. Huge help.

Love this feature on our Sequoia. Backing up in the dark, it definitely helps to roll down that dark tinted window. Also opening the sunroof, all windows, and rolling the back one down is great.

Having a Tundra, I’ve often wondered this. I love opening mine up all the way when weather is good. It’s awesome.

Same here. The people with Tundras love them. The people without pretend they don’t want one.

But since i was 16 i never thought i needed a roll down glass to my truck bed
I actually use the bed of my truck and that feature comes in super handy. I hauled some rebar and door casing in it the other day and was able to drop the glass and thread it through

Much safer way to haul it too

Can't be a patent on the concept as I had a 31 Hudson Terraplane coupe with that feature when I was in college. it was great for talking to the girls in the rumble seat.
I currently have a 31 Model A Deluxe Coupe that also has the full roll down rear window to the rumble seat. Maybe it is the rumble seat that needs to be brought back.

Uhhh fresh air? If it’s between 50 and 80 degrees mine is open. When it’s really nice out I roll all 5 windows down. Almost like having a convertible.

This. I had a 95ish Ram in college and when it was nice out, both windows down, the crew cab vents open, and the slider open. Would've loved a full back roll down.

I spent all day on a jobsite for a month with crazy fumes and all that air was great.

I'm still not right.
