UPDATE: talking with RTIC they are testing a backpack icechest available at their warehouse and Bucee's. These are a new items being tested in small quantities. They will be available online by Christmas.

They rep did say to be sure to keep your receipt from bucees for warranty claims because it will be needed if purchased from there.

The Ozark Trail backpack coolers for $40 from Walmart have good reviews.

I have the one you linked from Amazon, and while it works well the lining isnt water proof. I have to use reusable ice packs rather than straight up ice. If you don't mind that aspect then it is worth the 20 bucks

I think im going to get this one. people are saying it isnt fully waterproof. but im not using this to hold ice water for 48 hours. this is a biking/gameday icechest.

I had that one and got two uses before the zipper completely crapped out on me. May have been a bad one in the bunch but I won't buy another just yet.

Held ice very well when it worked

this is the EXACT one i have... honestly though, i haven't got to use it yet, zipper busted the very first time i attempted to zip it up and i haven't got around to sending it back yet. other than that, which i know is a big deal, it appears that it will be pretty nice. i need to get off my azz and get it sent back. still got the tags on it even

RTIC is making a backpack cooler now. It's not on their site, but I saw them at a Bucee's in central Texas recently. Can't remember the price.
