Glad to read your post. Recently picked up the H001 for the wife. I am about to start a leather butt sling mount. A cowgirl sling, if you will. I’m excited to give it to her as it will be her first Henry.

Lever actions are extremely trendy right now because apparently Yellowstone introduced a shite load of people to them and they skyrocketed the demand.

I have killed most of my deer with a 30-30 lever action.

I bought one of those that had a pitted chamber. Even pointing that out I made money selling it and bought an SKS M that takes AK mags and I've had that ever since. It's a tank. It would be difficult to make that rifle not cycle a round.

My old man gave me a Winchester 94AE years ago that just sat in my gun safe, as I was/am not a avid deer hunter. I started making a couple hunts a year, and it being the only deer rifle I had, I used it on all of those hunts until last year when I bought a 6.5 creedmoor to use on a Texas deer hunt. I love that little 30/30.

Dad had two BLR's, 257 Roberts & 308 but i never asked him what he did with them. Assuming he traded for the BAR's me and my brother have, wish he wouldn't have.
I have a winchester 22mag lever but have no idea the #.
Checked cabinet after my post and discovered a marlin 22 lever my brother won on a DU early bird drawing. Fuker ain’t getting it back either.

I have a 9422M XTR classic that I got for my 16th birthday. I love that gun. I have a Leupold compact 6X scope on it. They are pretty valuable these days. They sell on GB for $1200-$1500.

Tack driver. I picked one up used for my nephews back in February. It shoots way better than expected. I also bought a pump henry .22 lr that's a tack driver, too. I wasn't expecting 1/4" to 1/2" groups at 50.
