20' puma bumber pull, bought used don't remember the price, had one of those metal framed canopy covers over it. Kept at camp never cooked or used the bathroom or shower on it, used it strictly for sleeping.

It was too small for me and my dad in it at the same time with all our stuff so we kept stuff in our vehicles. Not ideal but worked.

works ok, but unless you have a hell of a big camper, it will be pretty tight. also gotta be pretty careful with things, as they are not really built for the kind of use that drunk men can dish out...

Cool. Would love to find something in legit condition that will hold up in 5-8k range that's simple yet sturdy

I have 2 old campers out in the woods that we use as a deer camp. 1 is a 1950 something Avion I paid $300 for any the other is a truck camper we paid $100 for. We use them for nothing but to sleep in, and they're fine for that.

Nothing fancy, but we kill plenty of deer and have plenty of fun out there.

We've had several pop ups in my life and they all suck.

Went to a 12x24 metal storage building I think we (my dad lol) paid $600 for. Works great.

I have a 22ish foot 1970s style camper under a shelter at the camp in Arkansas. It was inherited from a former club member when he quit, so no cost. It does not roll, or hasn't in years, but it is nice to have the slab/porch out front. There is pluming, but to avoid freezes the supply lines stay off. I just flush with a jug on cold nights and piss off the porch on warm nights.

It "sleeps 6" but I use it for just myself and a guest sometimes. It is kinda small for more people. All the campers surround a clubhouse that has a decent kitchen, dining area, and bathroom; so all most of us really have to do in the campers is sleep.

Finishing up my packing and headed up tomorrow after work. Hope for a little more wackin and stackin.

I do unless the camp is empty, if anyone else is there I sleep in my mamper.. it's a 32' Jay flight by jayco. Was an old fema camper that got "lost" in transit.. paid 1200 bucks no paper work. It has made its one-way trip to Alabama so that's where it will stay. Has a queen bed, and bunk bed. Serves it's purpose well.. just keep a fresh coat of cool seal on the roof..

I bought a 31' puma that can sleep 6-7 comfortably and 10 uncomfortably

Got a good deal on it at 15,xxx for a 2014 model.

It's not under a cover during duck season but I don't leave it there year round. I keep it in storage the rest of the year and we plan to use it a few times a year for family trips.

Pulling 31' with a half ton isn't much fun though, so I doubt I ever go more than a couple hundred miles with it.

red beer. That the kind of set ups that I grew up with. Looking for a camper rite now but my step dad is being a puss wanting something for 6-8k. I can't just pull the trigger because we only have one camp site available.

I have a 24' with a metal carport roof over it since campers are built like crap they will leak at some point. It works well at the deer camp and the boys are "camping" when we stay there. Gets tight but it's really not that bad. IMO it works well for something on the cheap at a deer camp.

I bought almost new FEMA trailer @ $2500 sat for one year then used - that year heater went out- ac went out, water heater went out then roof started to leak - dont buy one -was very difficult to move with three hunters in it - any trailer factor in a roof @2000 they will all eventually leak(from trailer salesman)

understand that FEMA trailers are all 10 yrs old now and many have been sitting out in a field, they need some shoring up

got mine for 1500 from the guy off I12 in Holden
stripped it bare on the inside out a new subfloor in and FRP on the walls and ceiling
new electrical/plumbing/AC/ kitchen/ bathroom/etc

if you keep them covered they'll last a long time

needed the trailer frame!
had to trailer it to texas them put it on a barge to the island and then trailer it to the campsite so it had to be mobile, otherwise yes at this point it's a box on a frame
