Me and my son have done it... camp was only an hour away. Family members chose to comment on our natty attire and general filth.

I've done it a few times, either hunt then go to the game or vice versa. It's a 3 hour trip one way for me. Not too bad if you have somebody else to drive. Otherwise it's pretty rough.

Done it several times over the years, doable but at some point driving becomes difficult due to exhaustion.

when LSU would play Arky on Thursdays, I would make a morning hunt, hit the big dinner a little early, then roll on to the game. good times....

When the hunting camp is 30-40 minutes from Baton Rouge, it is easy. I rarely actually make the morning hunt as I enjoy cracking a beer/making a whiskey drink at 8 a.m. for a tailgate, but I've done it. Used to be awesome when I was in school. We would head up there pretty much any time we wanted to hunt, sleep the night, then make a 10 a.m. class the next morning.

Made the ride in from Pecan Island after a morning hunt many times. Then back again after the game and in the blind for Sunday morning.

Did that for the auburn game a few weekends ago. Makes for a long day but a fun one at that.

One of my favorite days ever.

Me and a buddy had a once a year type of bass fishing day. 25-30 bass each. Hitting everything we threw.

Fished till 2 saw LSU kickoff at 7

Great day
