I remember doing this when I was younger, but haven't tried it in awhile.

I was walking in the Manassas battlefield. It felt like I was stung by about 100 sweat bees. GGGrrrrrrrrrrrr

Haven't eaten it since I was a kid but I do take a Milk Thistle supplement that does wonders for the liver. Yeah I know, I didn't believe it either till I took it for a week.

ehhhhh lets see, I've sampled:

Alligator weed
several kinds of Amaranth, both leaves and seed
bamboo/river cane
Beautyberry fruit
Betony
Cattail, several parts
Chickweed
Several kinds of Dock
Dandelions
Day Lily
Dollarweed
Greenbriar
Henbit
Indian Strawberry
Lambsquarter
Marsh Mallow (wild hybiscus)
Milkweed
Oxalis/Wood Sorrel
Peppervine fruit
Poke Salat
Pony's Foot
Purslane
Queen Anne's Lace
Sassafras
Smartweed
Spiderwort/Dayflower
The aforementioned Thistle, actually several kinds
Wisteria flowers
Yarrow

I've at least nibbled all of the above. Some only once, some many times and in fair quantities.

Eat anything wild at your own risk and do your own research.
