Fits good. Any plans for mag extensions? Do they have that for the 45s?

Don't be thinking you messed up. No matter how good the 45 shoots I would still carry the 9mm due to the rd capacity to size and weight difference.

But I would still like one to play with

I'm just glad to get my hands on some so cheap. Remember to make copies of all of your rebate paperwork that you send off and record the dates. Just in case it gets "lost". Call the day after the longest wait time if you don't see a check.

I think I'm going to have to sandpaper down the texture a little bit. After a half an hour of dry firing I've rubbed a raw spot in the palm of my hand. Feels like grabbing 80 grit sandpaper. If just dry firing it rubbed a raw spot I'd hate to see what live fire would have done to my hand.

There are some inexpensive grips out there that will change that

ETA

Guess they would actually be considered a wrap because they just form fit around what's already there, I use Talon I believe

Gunbuyer raised their prices. The MP Shield model 10035 9mm was raised by over $70. .45 is now $396. Bastards.

PSA still has the low prices but damned if they didn't post a notice saying TEN business days to fill orders.

I'd never order from palmetto state armory and expect anything other than a long wait.

Unless they changed something they always had a long wait until they shipped.

Glad to see they are at least telling people now.

When I bought my Shield (10035) from Gunbuyer on 4/1 it was $319 from a certain "warehouse" (not sure which one). The other "warehouses" had different prices. It is now $374 ($55 increase).

Ordered mine from PSA on 4/2 and it shipped on 4/8-after 2 day delay for having my dealer to re-send their FFL to them.

They have always been pretty quick with my orders [1 lower, 1 upper (which had to be returned for cosmetic defect and was turned around quickly) and this 9mm Shield].

Good to see they turned it around. Mine still hasnt shipped, ordered on 4/3. Had the same issue as you.

They used to be extremely slow shippong things. Its not a problem if you just tell people you are going to be slow.

Why is that? Just curious.

Same here. Purchased 4-5 firearms from them and always got them in a couple business days shipped from Florida. Customer service was good as well.

I had a bad experience last spring buying a Kahr CM9 from them. Gun was in stock at the time I bought it. I paid a few bucks extra to have it shipped from an alternate warehouse where it was in stock. It was not until AFTER I completed the deal that the site indicated shipping would be delayed as it was being shipped from a different warehouse. I bought the gun from them because there were no credit card fees and the site indicated it was in stock. My credit card was billed the next day. I was not sent a confirmation of shipping so I sent customer service an email nearly a week later asking them to check on it. She said the warehouse my gun was ordered from had delayed shipping (remember, the website confirmed that AFTER I completed the order), but didn't actually confirm the order. The next week I contacted CS again as I still didn't have confirmation of shipping. This time I was told the gun was no longer in stock. CS claimed they just discovered the prior day there was a software problem so that some of the orders were not being communicated to that particular warehouse; funny, there was no software problem quickly billing my credit card. I told them to ship it the next day by noon or cancel the order and issue a full refund to my account. I told them not to charge me the restocking fee their website said I'd be charged. To their credit, they promptly issued the refund. I can't prove it, but I suspect whether the gun was in stock when it was ordered. I don't plan on buying from Gunbuyer.com again. I've bought a bunch of guns from the 'net and that's the only time I've ever had a problem.
