Someone on here was talking about they changed there prices and had different "warehouses" listed. Seemed to me there warehouse was other gun stores in town? Just putting it out there really no other reason
.
No way to confirm it, but I've wondered if the different "warehouses" on the Gunbuyer website are actually different dealers or distributors that Gunbuyer sells through? IIRC, when I tried to buy my Kahr CM9 there was a slight difference in the prices from different "warehouses."

HOT TAKE:

Just shot it. Not great. Maybe the Apex trigger will help. Slide is not smooth. Trigger is mush. Not a Glock fanboy by any means, but side by side vs the 19.4 there is no comparison.

Glock 19 is bigger for sure. My Sig 938 is appreciatply smaller. Both slides are way more smooth. Trigger on the stock Glock breaks way more crisp. I'll shoot the Shield some more but I am underwhelmed.

I think for a small carry gun to have a smooth slide actuation may be a bit of a stretch. For example, my Kahr CM9 has a very short, sturdy slide action because the gun is so small. I would never think to compare it to something like the Glock 19, which has a much longer guide rod and spring.

If you took physics back in the day, think of spring constant - if the length of travel is shorter the spring constant will be higher, thus resulting in stiff slide action. But for a full sized gun, the spring and guide rod will be longer and will drop the spring constant.

As for the trigger gripe, I think that's a fair point. I'm sure those who have installed Apex kits in their Shields can chime in.

I agree to a point. And I'll be the first to admit to being hypercritical on first impressions (and probably moreso after a couple cold ones last night).

The slide actuation seems clunky for lack of a better term. It's not gritty but definitely not smooth. It's probably comparing apples to oranges, but I never got the feeling with my P938 out of the box. I'm sure that it will get better after properly breaking it in.

Also keep in mind that the P938 will have more smoothness simply because of the price point and the metal frame. The polymer will always buckle to a certain degree, if only a tiny bit.
