on 1/13/21 at 5:23 pm to Icansee4milesI shoot the hornady SST in 130 out of my .270 because the gun loves them. I’ve never had an issue, but feel it’s only a matter of time based on these stories I keep reading on here.

on 1/14/21 at 7:57 am to bayoududeThat’s the thing. The accuracy is the best of any round I’ve ever shot. The old school Corelockts are a time tested bullet, but my rifle scatters them all over the paper. My experience is limited bc of all the neck shots over the years, but when I see that rack, I’m going body shot. I’ll have to mess around in the off-season at the range to evaluate alternatives.
