I have owned all of them except the newer canams, a mule 760, and the new ridge.

Anyone who tells you one bike or another without asking exactky what you're doing with it has an agenda or is trying to justify their own purchase.

Have said that... Do not buy a ranger 570...for any reason. Built to a price point and a garbage unit.

Do not buy a chinese cf moto or hisun.

Why? China has made two quality products in the last 50 years. The norinco 1911. The small honda laydown motors that are clones.

Should have went to grand isle for the 4th of July. You would have had a chance to see every make and model.

Polaris no doubt.

I bout a brand new crew cab defender in 2022. The one with heat and air. It stayed in the shop the whole first hunting season. I traded it in that same year for a Polaris northstar. Wouldn’t look back

Pioneer was the right choice.

Rangers will cost you more than the purchase price in repairs. Canam will break, burn, and just generally torpedo itself and the company will not stand behind anything.

I thought I went all out when I bought my pioneer, but knowing what I know now, I would never buy another one without a closed cab and a/c. Louisiana just sucks this time of year.

Yeah. Expensive!!!
But its loaded and reliable. Could have bought the mid level one but after all add ons it would’ve been about the same. So screw it. Go big! No for a trailer.

Everyone take note.

The guy who wasn't sure what to buy is now adamant that his choice is reliable.

This is why we should all have trust issues with any opinions of products that people offer

Potchafa. It's a good bike. Look up the added insulation kits for the rear. It'll help keep your grandbabies cool. If youre routinely driving it around at low RPM... Remember to run it hard occasionally to burn off any excess fuel.

And lastly, like a belt drive, if you are doing less than 10 consistently... Be in low.

Contrary to what honda says, change your sub trans oil at EVERY oil change. The drain plug is within reach and it holds less than a quart. To not do so is just laziness.

Glad this thread is here

I’m looking for something with towing ability up to 3,000 lbs and highly reliable.

None are rated for it. All can pull it. Most cant stop it.

What are you trying to pull, where, how often?

Try the inverter models. I have a couple of them and they are less than 1% THDv regardless of the load.

I sometimes pull a maxed out double 3500 lb axle utility trailer with my 1000XP (slowly, in low). Will I burn a belt one day? Maybe, but I have a good belt and a secondary clutch mudder spring.
