South La guys are posting pics of frogs, gators and crawfish like they have never left their swamp shanty.

No, again you guys are talking about how superior you have it in NELA over a 15 parish area. I just posted picks of the diversity of 15k continous acres in Terrebonne Parish. You guys bitched because the crabs, I posted crawfish from same lease.

Ok.. But why is offshore fishing considered SELA? Most people (like 99%) still live hours away from the nearest offshore fishing ports. So from Nela, it would take me an extra two or three hours to drag my boat down to the gulf and go out. To me, offshore fishing is gulf fishing, not a specific part of La.

it's considered SELA because that's where it is. we could all drive 4 hrs to monroe and shoot mallards in flooded timber if we wanted to. that doesn't mean it doesn't belong with NELA.

What about the Red or Mississippi River?

Both very nice waterways.. BTW 34 and i decided that our map would have a river parish section, and that section would dominate.

The GA/Carolina's coast is pretty good. Numbers aren't there, but they have size.

A weekend revival in a tent outside the local Baptist Church isn't a cultural experience.

I find this comical especially coming from you who has been asking for tips on how to kill ducks here recently.
