Any chance to (re)move the rooster painting and put him there?

You better get that wedding photo back on the wall before the wife sees it.

I'd opt for over the door. That way it keeps hands away from touching it, especially if low enough for kids to reach in some way.

#3 probably not going to work with your lady, since you took down someone’s wedding photo ( it’s on the couch) to place mount there. Nice cock also

Congrats, I prefer pic 1. I generally take into account where I'm going to put a mount before deciding which form to use.

Ended up going with location #1

Truth be told, this is my first one that I've shoulder mounted. I put him in full sneek with the right turn because I had originally planned to put him on a different wall. But I'm happy with this spot

I’d go option 1, but I Also wanted to get some info about that wall. Where did you get that wood? Did you install it yourself?

It's something that Stines carries. I'm sure the other big box stores has it or something similar.

Came in 15 sqft per box. About $30/ea. It's some kind of manufactured stuff that is tongue and groove. Very easy to put up. I did that wall in 1 day.

Laid out my stud lines, staggered my joints, and used a Brad nailer. I did not glue it in case we want to change it ever.

Edit: here it is at Lowes same brand I used. I picked two different finishes and mixed them in together

The deer needs to look at you from your favorite chair or when you enter the room.

I'm a fan of sneak/semi-sneak mounts and that one looks good.

Bc of the turn option 1. Opposite turn I’d say number 2 but with that direction option 1 is the only choice to me
