I would agree with most of the responses. I came from the boilermaker side into operations with a
P-tech and a bachelors. I moved into a day position after about 5 years, but that depends on the plant you go to and how they are structured.
Top pay in for chemical plant operators is around $50/hr. If you do not want to do shift work and are willing to go to school, an instrumentation degree is the way to go. If you want to move into operations you should start applying, we will interview anyone with 5+ years of plant experience, or a P-Tech, or a bachelors.

re: Will be a boilermaker helper. Would like some tips/advice and what I'll be doing.

Is it new construction, or turnaround? What company are you working for? Boilermaker could range from actually working on boilers/exchangers to unbolting/bolting up piping, installing blinds, replacing gaskets. Likely be using chainfalls and come-a-longs, metabo saws, impact wrenches. Rigging piping and signaling crane operators. Obviously the boilermaker(s) that you’re helping should be doing all of this and training you. Try and learn what size wrench goes with what size stud, and what size stud goes in what size flange. Learn the steps of the process and have the next tool ready when it’s time. I enjoyed my time as a pipe-fitter boilermaker, but I am in operations now.

I wouldn’t doubt it but it seems like there are way more guides on Toledo Bend….I have only fished Rayburn twice

Rayburn is a beautiful lake, better scenery than Toledo in my opinion. No permanent piers allowed on Rayburn, so it’s more natural. Toledo seems to have a clear edge on Sac-a-lait but the bass fishing is closer. Spotted bass seem to be more prevalent in Rayburn and to me it seems like a less pressures Lake.

Bump
Heading to the Bend on Thursday to Sunday, taking my Dad on his first trip there. Hopefully we can catch some quality fish. We will be on the southern end of the lake. From the reports it seems like they are in all different depths. Fingers crossed…

Did you see the video of John Kennedy talking about the plans to fill in the MRGO?

I actually haven’t been able to locate the results of the vote but they were talking about it on the Kevin Ford show.

Unanimous decision to leave trout limits at 12” and 25 per person. Governer has 10 days to overturn.

This is amazing, I got in on the presale for 1.2 BNB - How do the taxes work on the profits you make from selling? Do you only have to pay the tax after it becomes cash back in your bank account?
I’m assuming it’s normal for the value of the coin to lag behind on Trust wallet as compared to poocoin?
That worked, thanks for the help.
No, I had it at 1%
I got an error on pancakeswap that says “The transaction cannot succeed due to error: cannot estimate gas; transaction may fail or may require manual gas limit” when trying to swap GME back to BNB.

200$-400$ Gift ideas as a Thank You
Posted by Sheesh125 on 6/10/19 at 7:16 pm
Looking for gift ideas in the 200-400$ Price range as a thank you for someone who won’t take payment. Mainly looking for fishing related ideas but something outdoor kitchen related may work. They do have a bass boat and a Komodo Joe grill. As of now I was thinking a new freshwater setup but just want to see if anyone had any better ideas.
I couldn’t play it on my phone but it worked on the Roku at the house, I have DirectTV Now. Not sure if that helps. I thought I was Shite out of luck, but it’s working for now
