Jopete, check out Lake Area Marine if you are looking for Tohatsu. They beat every price in the state that I found.

I didn't even call them because I've done business with them once, and lets just say that their customer service was so bad that, even if they beat LAM by $1k, I wouldn't buy from them. Once they got my money, it was like I didn't exist. So bad to the point where I put them on blast of FB, which isn't something I typically do. I called them every day for over a week and they would just keep telling me the guy I needed to speak with was busy and would call me back, which of course he wouldn't. One FB post about about 20 shares later, I got a call requesting I remove the post. frick that place.

Well I'm glad to hear that they have improved in that department. Who knows, maybe they were extremely busy when I was dealing with them, or under staffed. Regardless, a single phone call goes a long way, in my opinion.

Lake Area Marine has been a pleasure to deal with so far. Of course, most places are easy to deal with while they are getting your money. Its the service after where they usually fall short. Hopefully that won't be the case at LAM.

Did you go with the 40 or 50? I have the 50 and love it. My buddy got the 40 and hasnt had any issue with it at all. The only thing I didnt like about mine was trim button placement. I had mine moved to grab bar.

I highly recommend David Wade Marine in BR if you haven’t already sealed the deal. I have a 40 with a big tiller from them. Top notch set up.

I agree. Kyle and the entire staff at Lake Area Marine are top notch folks. Great products and great service after the sale. Heather and the gals at the service/parts counter are always helpful and polite.

I appreciate it, but the deal has pretty much been sealed. The boat is there now having the motor mounted on. I'm expecting a call within the next couple hours to go pick it up.

I'm pretty pumped!
